About
Apna Raavan Jalao is a small Dussehra experience made in India. Every year families gather at the maidan to watch Raavan's effigy burn on Vijayadashami, the day Shri Ram's victory over Raavan is remembered as the victory of good over evil.
The idea is simple. Raavan had ten heads, and most of us carry a few Raavans of our own: laziness, overthinking, doomscrolling, anger, or the habit we keep promising to drop. Here you can give those evils a name, put them on Raavan's ten heads, pick up Shri Ram's bow and burn them yourself. Then share your card and challenge your friends to burn theirs.
It started as a weekend project for people who could not make it to a Dussehra mela, and grew into a full 3D maidan for laptops, with a lighter 2D version so that it plays smoothly on any phone. It is free, needs no sign-up, and what you write never leaves your device.
Made with respect
The game is made with respect for the Ramayana tradition. Shri Ram is not depicted; you only pick up his bow. Names of real people, leaders, religions and castes are blocked, so that the game stays about burning our own evils, not targeting anyone else.
